My Princess Academy Review & Giveaway
Just in time for Christmas, I have the perfect gift idea for the little princess in your life!
My three year little girl is as girly-girl as they come. She loves to play dress up, and loves princesses, so when I had the opportunity to review a product from My Princess Academy I jumped at the chance.
My Princess Academy generously sent me and my three year a Lilac and Teal Trimmed Pettiskirt. This complimentary gift was sent for the purpose of review on this blog. Thank you to My Princess Academy for this opportunity.
My Princess Academy take dress up and pretend play to the next level. Not only do they let "girls be girls" but they teach girls the four pillars of princesshood: generosity, intellegience, beauty, and confidence. My Princess Academy guides girls through four levels of interactive games and activities that build skills in these four pillars. As your child goes through each level/game, she will gain points to use in the My Princess Academy Shop.
My Princess Academy Shop is a great place for parents to get super cute stuff for their own Princess! There is everything from wands and tiaras to room decor and most recently, Pettiskirts!
The Pettiskirt is made of yards of fluffy soft polyester chiffon, a gathered satin elastic waistband and tied with a deluxe satin ribbon. It even comes with its own hanger!
I love this pettiskirt!!! More importantly, my three year does! As soon as I took it out of the box, my daughter HAD to wear it! And the only time she has taken it off is to go to bed, have a bath or go out! In fact, she wants to wear it to church!!!! Not sure about that yet:)
The skirt is much fuller than I thought. The picture above, and on the website, do not do it justice. Due to camera trouble, I cannot post pics of my daughter wearing but hopefully in the near future I can:) It gives princess a whole new meaning. As soon as my daughter put it on, she twirled around the room! It was so cute to watch. Immediately she had to grab her tiara and wand and she moved around the room like she owned the place! It was so cute to watch. The skirt is generous in size, yet small enough that my 16 month old daughter also wears it (only when her sister feels up to sharing)
We also checked out My Princess Academy together and checked out the different games a little girl can play and it was really great! The games are set up and designed for girls of all ages over three, as well as for girls with a variety of computer game experience! Also the site for games is password protected, so a parent must log the child in and out. I really like this security measure.
I honestly never thought that I would be so "into" princess play and gear. For a very long time I have had the attitude that princess play did not teach girls very good ideas. For one, I always felt that inner beauty was not a quality that princesses were taught.
However, My Princess Academy dispelled my fears. I really like that the importance of inner beauty and strong character are taught by My Princess Academy.
I will definitely purchase from My Princess Academy in the future and continue to use the games section of the website for some time to come.
I highly recommend My Princess Academy for the princess in your life! The Pettiskirt or any other product would be the perfect gift for this upcoming holiday season, or any other time of the year!
