I was also sent a free pattern of The Duet Apron Set - Adult and Child from You Can Make This! As I only received the pattern last night, I have not yet had a chance to make the aprons, but they are adorable, don't you think? I cannot wait to make this and surprise my three year old with the apron. I am thinking maybe for Easter. She is always wanting to do everything I do, and loves her little kitchen center. So now she can have her own apron and be just like me! What a fantastic idea.

You Can Make This has created a free download for some fun gift tags. Each of them coordinate with ideas found as part of the DIY Gift Giving Series videos that can be found at , as well as designs and patterns found at and

My Review:

I love all of these patterns!!! All three items will make wonderful gifts for the little girls in your life. I am a very beginner sewer and I believe that all three patterns are relatively easy and would not cause too much stress for a beginner. Once I have made the aprons I will post pictures (believe me though, it will likely not be for a bit LOL). I already have some ideas of what fabrics to get!

Another thing that I love about the dolls is that You Can Make This is going to be adding to the Clothing and Accessories line in the future! Such designs as: 'Who Says Pirates Can't Wear Pink?', .'Sugar Cookie', 'Queen of Hearts', 'Girl in Paris', 'Ice Princess' and more! I totally love this and will definitely be keeping my eye out for these accessories.

One thing that I would like to do when making the doll is to make it as real to life as my daughter. With brown hair, and even try to make clothes similar to what she wears. Then it would be like a mini me doll. Plus this is a great way to do a project with your child, as they can help pick out the materials, etc needed to sew the Kimberbell Doll and accessories.

I wanted to also let my readers know about the You Can Make This Gift Giving Series on YouTube! I will be featuring these videos on my blog from time to time, so please keep watching for them! Here is one to get you started:
