This book has been an amazing addition to my library! I am the first to admit, I have been stuck in a fashion rut in recent years. As a stay at home mom, my wardrobe consists of jeans, t-shirts, and yoga pants. In and of itself, these are not terrible pieces of clothing, but I seriously have needed some guidance to help hide baby weight, muffin top, etc. I am only 5'2'' so that can sometimes be a challenge too!
How To Never Look Fat Again, has really given me a ton of great tips to help re-energize my fashion sense and help me to be the best I can be. My sister is getting married in June, and I am in the process of losing 60lb, so I am not sure what my body will look like by then. However, because of Chapter 15 in How To Never Look Fat Again, I have discovered a few great tips to dressing up for special occassions:
*Wearing knee length dresses
*Wearing one-shoulder styles and empires
*Wearing items with ruching to hid bulges
*Wearing off the shoulder
*Wearing A-line will make your silhouette longer if you are plus sized
*Wearing 3 or more flaw fighters like a wide v empire dress that is knee length in a solid color
*Wearing Shapewear to camoflouge flaws
My only complaint about How To Never Look Fat Again is that, although Krupp does list a ton of great products, most of them are very pricey. As a mom of two children, I try to live on a pretty basic budget, and many of the items she mentions are way out of my price range! However, that said, I have done some research and have been able to find similar items for tons less!
If you want some great, practical ideas of how to make yourself look thinner, then you must read this book! I highly recommend it and give it a huge thumbs up!
