One of the most important points made in the book is how to eat (portion control) what to eat and what not to eat! Not only that, but The Mayo Clinic Diet really makes you think of goals and answer the question for yourself, "why do I want to do this?" That is key. If you have no goals, it is pretty much a given you will have a very difficult weight loss journey.
I can attest to it! In the two weeks that I have had the book and journal, I have been meticulous in recording my habit changes, food and exercise intake and have seen a significant change in my blood sugars, in my weight (lost 7lbs) and in my general health (more energy for example).
