 My Review:
I have been contemplating homeschooling for a few months now, and I just recently realized that I am already doing it with my girls. I run a home daycare and am always teaching my girls and the four little ones that I care for a ton of different concepts on a daily basis.
My three year old knows how to spell her name and is currently learning to print it. She has learned all her colors and shapes and counts to 20! She loves learning about science, and currently is fascinated with the lifecycle of the butterfly (thanks in part to Eric Carle's book, The Very Hungry Caterpillar). I never thought about what I do homeschooling but in reality that is exactly what it is. I was looking to the future about formal school years, but it is amazing to me just how much children under the age of five retain and learn in such short time frames.

Homeschooling For The Rest Of Us was a delightful book, perfect for those who are contemplating using homeschooling as an option for educating your children. It is full of wonderful tips and ideas to make home education the most comfortable and stress free experience for both parent and child. You will not only learn about picking curriculums and how to plan your day, but you will also learn how to nurture a wonderful relationship with your children and how to rely on God in all aspects of life, including homeschooling.

Whether you have been homeschooling for years, just starting out or still researching the option (like me) this book will be an valuable resource. I highly recommend it and give it a huge thumbs up!
