About The Author:

Jane Austen, daughter of a clergyman, is the beloved author of some of the most acclaimed fiction of all time. Though writing about provincial life in late-18th century England, she captured timeless themes that transcend centuries and languages. Almost as popular today as ever, Austen is undoubtedly the most influential female novelist ever.

My Review:

Jane Austen has long been a favorite author of mine, and so I was very excited to be able to review Sense & Sensibility Insight Edition from Bethany House. This Austen novel has long been one of my favorites, aside of Pride and Prejudice, and I was so impressed with the little tidbits, trivia, historical information, themes of faith, and comparison's to culture today that was placed throughout the novel itself.

This edition of Sense & Sensibility also includes a "Questions For Conversations" section at the end of the book with 12 questions that will help you apply the book to your life and get deeper into the insight of the book. This would be perfect for a book club!

If you are a Jane Austen fan, or just love historical fiction, you will absolutely love this book! I highly recommend it and just so you know there is also an Insight Edition for Pride and Prejudice published by Bethany House.

BUY IT:  You can purchase Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen online through Bethany House Publishers. It is also available through your favorite Christian Bookseller, that carry Bethany products.
