Fever Dream: Book Review & Giveaway

About The Book:

Yesterday, Special Agent Pendergast still mourned the loss of his beloved wife, Helen, who died in a tragic accident in Africa twelve years ago. Today, he discovers she was murdered. Tomorrow, he will learn her most guarded secrets, leaving him to wonder: Who was the woman I married? Why was she murdered? And, above all . . . Who murdered her? FEVER DREAM Revenge is not sweet: It is essential.

My Review:

I am sad to say that this is the first book by Preston & Child that I have read. Wow, what have I been missing. In doing my research, I realized that the character of Pendergast has been in 10 other books by this writing duo. I loved this character and the combination with Hayward, and D'Agosta. These characters were very well developed and I loved all of them. The story behind Fever Dream was awesome! Although the book started out a little slow for my liking, I could not put it down. It drew me in and kept me in suspense throughout. This was a very well-written book and easy to read!

I am definitely going to be reading more by Preston & Child throughout the upcoming months, not only because I love their writing style, but also to become more familiar with the characters and plot lines they write about. Although I have not read other Preston & Child books, I was not at all lost or confused. It is not necessary to read other books with the Pendergast characters to understand this book.

I highly recommend this book and give it a thumbs up!
