My Review:

In recent years, the number of young people walking away from Christianity and church has been increasing at an alarming rate. In like of this, parents, Pastors, and Church workers are looking for ways to make a relationship with God, the Bible and Church more relevant and interesting to young people. YHWH: The Flood The Fish and The Giant is a perfect tool for reaching young people for God.

Both authors, G.P. Taylor and Paula K. Parker are new to me, but I absolutely enjoyed reading this book! The authors have compiled a modern interpetation of Old Testament stories and the result is awesome! Very easy to read and understand, it is perfect for all ages!

Though writing liberties have occured, the main focus of God's power, love, forgiveness and grace are all kept intact! Just some of the stories included are: The Fall (Genesis 2-3), The Flood (Genesis 6-9), The Wall (Joshua 1-6), The Fish (Jonah 1-4) and The Woman (Esther 1-10). In total there is 20 stories in The Flood The Fish and The Giant. A great way to get young people and adults alike interested in the Bible! In a day where vampires and magic are major themes in youth fiction, YHWH - The Flood The Fish and The Giant is a wonderful alternative!

I highly recommend this book and give it a HUGE thumbs up!
