Humberto, The Bookworm Hamster: Book Review

About The Book:

Humberto loves books so much; he reads all day long. His neighbors, the squirrel, the rabbit, the skunk, the hedgehog and the beaver want to become his friends, but Humberto doesn’t have time for them. He’s too busy reading! Then one day, disaster strikes and he must choose between saving his books and helping them.

My Review:

This is an absolutely adorable book! I love the whimsical illustrations and the fact that the main character, Humberto, is a book lover. What an encouragement to young children to getting reading. Love it. My daughters both sat through the reading of Humberto, The Bookworm Hamster and we have read this book several times since receiving it a few weeks ago. It not only encourages a love for books, but also reminds children how to be a friend and help those around us when they are in need.

I highly recommend this book and give it a huge thumbs up.
