My Review:

I love Melody Carlson's writing, and as I read Christmas at Harrington's, I was not disappointed. It is a extremely quick read (I read it only in a couple hours last night), and brings you to the heart of the Christmas message: love, grace, and redemptions seen in the birth of Jesus Christ.

I loved the characters, and felt they were very well-developed, and the writing style is very easy to read. Actually it would be a great book for even older children/youth to read during the Christmas season. Better yet, a great book to read as a family. I previously read The Christmas Dog by Carlson, and both of these books are fantastic additions to anyone's Christmas book library.

I think that it would be great to see the characters of Lena and Sam developed into another novel, and develop their characters even more. Not sure if that is in the author's plans, but it would be great to see.

Overall, a very sweet book, which I really enjoyed reading.

I highly recommend this book and give it a huge thumbs up.
