Holiday Gift Guide: TamaTown Tama-Go by Tamagotchi

About TamaTown Tama-Go:

TamaTown Tama-Go offers kids the chance to act as young caregivers by nurturing and raising their own virtual pet through feeding, playing games and checking statistics of happiness, hunger and discipline while also connecting with other friends and their Tama-Gos. Another exciting new option is the ability to “pause.” Now caregivers and friends no longer need to Tama-sit! Fans can now enhance the fun on, which offers Web visitors the chance to play games and nurture their Gotchi characters in the three simulated worlds of Swirly Sweet City, Forest Falls and Flower Hills Park

My Review:

I love that your child will learn all about taking care of a pet! What a great responsibility to teach a young child, especially if you are thinking of getting one for your family. They learn all about feeding, playing and general nurturing that has to occur when you own a pet! What a fantastic idea. If you remember the Tamagotchi's from the 1990's, you will remember that if you neglected them, forgot to feed, etc, then your pet would "die". Well the new, updated version in Tama-Go, come complete with a pause button, so your child does not have to worry about their pets needs while at school or other activities.

TamaTown is an awesome virtual world for your child to play fun games, personalize their pet, chat with friends and learn all at the same time. Very bright, and easy to navigate around, which is a huge plus for a product geared to children.

If you are looking for a fun, interactive and educational toy for the elementary aged child in your life, then Tama-Town's Tama-Go is the perfect gift this Christmas! I received the Tama-Go Mametchi and he is so cute! My daughter is only four, so well under the recommended age of 8+, however, my nephew is the perfect age for the Tama-Go and it will be the perfect gift for Christmas!

I highly recommend this product and give it a huge thumbs up!

BUY IT: You can purchase the Tama-Go from Tamagotchi at your local toyseller like Walmart or Toys R Us.
