Piggy Paint: Review and Giveaway!

Do you have a little princess in your home that loves to dress up and even put on makeup and paint her nails?

Are you concerned with the chemicals that can be found in these products, even those that are marketed for use with children?

If so, I have a fantastic product to tell you about.

About Piggy Paint:

Necessity proves to be the mother of all inventions and no one knows that better than Melanie Hurley, a mother who got nervous when the traditional nail polish she was using on her children ate right through a foam plate! From that day on, Hurley decided that any substance that could eat through foam was unacceptable for her daughters' fingernails, which would inevitably end up in their mouths. Her quest was on for a safer alternative, and Piggy Paint was born.

Piggy Paint is a non-toxic, eco-friendly nail polish that is specially formulated of natural ingredients and proudly made in the USA. It is free of formaldehyde., toluene, phthalates, BPA, ethyl acetate and acetone.

Piggy Paint's hypoallergenic, ordorless formula makes it gentle enough for sensitive hands and noses, yet it dries to a hard, durable finish that can be easily be removed with Piggy Paint Nail Polish Remover. This unique remover contains none of the solvents that could offend your nose or harm our atmosphere.

Piggy Paint offers an array of fun and vibrant colors to choose from with adorable names like:

***Clouds Of Candy (Pastel Blue)
***Dragon Tears (Light Green Pearl)
***Mac N Cheese Please (Vibrant Orange)

Polishes can be purchased alone or in gift sets like Toe-Tally Fancy and Girls Rule.

These cool color combos and polish removers come wrapped in a beautiful organza bag and are perfect for parties, sleepovers, or holidays. Gift sets with names like "Mistle Toes", "Jingle Nail Rock", and "Snowflake Fairy" make sensational stocking stuffers for the little princesses on your list.

Piggy Paint is also proud to introduce its line of "Project Earth" nail polishes formulated for tweens concerned about Mother Earth. With names like "Eat Your Peace", and "The Boyfriend Blues", young ladies everywhere are loving manis and pedis free of foul ordors and harsh chemicals that pollute the atmosphere.

Finally, a nail polish without the accompanying drawbacks of traditional polishes. Say good-bye to harsh, smelly chemicals and hello to Piggy Paint...it's as natural as mud!

My Review:

With two little girls at home who are four and two, my husband and I have already been brought into the world of pink, pink and more pink! Over the last four years, we have seen our share of princesses, dress up and tea parties, and now have graduated to the world hairdressing and "make-up". Of course, at this point not real make up but the pretending part is just as fun!

I had the opportunity to work with Piggy Paint last year and love the products, so when the chance came up to work with them again I jumped at it. This time, I received two colors from the new Project Earth line from Piggy Paint: Radioactive (clear paint that glows in the dark) and LOL (Neon Magenta). My four year old absolutely loved the glow-in-the-dark nail polish and thinks it's a blast that she can watch her hands when she is in bed at night!

I love that I can paint my girls (and my own!) nails and not have to worry about how the smell or chemicals will affect us. I love that Piggy Paint comes in a great variety of colors and that you can even get accessories like Nail Art to jazz up your newly painted nails.

If you are looking for a super gift idea for the little girl or tween in your life, I highly recommend Piggy Paint. You will not be disappointed, I know we aren't!

BUY IT: You can purchase both Radioactive and LOL, from the Piggy Paint Project Earth Line, or any of the  other polishes online here.

  1. The radioactive one looks so cool, Trinity would love glow in the dark nails! What a wonderful idea to make safe make up for little girls. Trinity is so into dressing up and playing with make up, it's fun and expressive and now with this company it's safe. Very cool.
