About Chicken Soup for the Soul: Just For Preteens:
101 Stories of Inspiration and Support for Tweens
Being a preteen is harder than it looks! School is more challenging, bodies are changing, relationships with parents are different, and new issues arise with friends. But preteens can find encouragement and inspiration in this collection of stories by other preteens, just like them, about the problems and issues they face every day.Chicken Soup for the Soul: Just for Preteens will help readers as they navigate those tough preteen years from ages 9 to 12 with its stories from others just like them, about the highs and lows of life as a preteen. It's a support group they carry in their backpack!
My Review:
An amazing group of stories that will inspire the preteen in your life. Your child will be encouraged as they read of other preteens dealing with issues, such as:
-feeling good about yourself
-true friends and new friends
-mean girls and boys
-bullies and bully payback
-crushes
-family issues
-learning to do what's right
-and lots more stories about your preteen life!
Seriously, with 101 stories there is something for every walk of life. Each story is quick to read, at only four pages each, and can be read one at a time, or the whole book could be read at one time. I know a number of preteens that would really be impacted by reading Chicken Soup For The Soul Just For Preteens and it would be a perfect birthday or Christmas (for those planning ahead) gifts.
I highly recommend this book and give it a huge thumbs up.
