True Christian Motherhood: A Review and Giveaway

About The Book:

Women everywhere are looking for guidance, encouragement and vision. Gone are the days when we would have support from our community, friends and family. Being a mother in the 21st century can be a challenge for a Christian woman and many are looking for help...

Come be encouraged, and learn all that you would need to know about Christian motherhood. Here, you will be given life-changing vision that will change the way you view motherhood, your life, and the way you engage with your children forever.

You can read an excerpt of the book here.

About The Author:

Mrs. June Fuentes is the happy wife to Steve and blessed homeschooling mother to eight beautiful children that they are raising for the Lord. She has a heart to see mothers all around the world grasp the vision of biblical motherhood and to see this noble role restored in the 21st century to the glory of God.

June strongly believes that weak homes will equate a weak nation and therefore is committed to encouraging women to build up strong Christian homes. You can catch up with her at her blogs, A Wise Woman Builds Her Home and Raising Homemakers. She is also the author of the newly released Amazon best seller, True Christian Motherhood. She would love for you to catch a glimpse of her day on Facebook and Twitter.

My Review:

I have been reading June Fuentes' blog, A Wise Woman Builds Her Home, for about a year and it has been so incredibly encouraging. Recently June wrote True Christian Motherhood, and I had the opportunity to review it.

This little book may be small on size but it certainly packs a lot of punch. June covers everything from having a peaceful home to discipline to submission and more. Each chapter is small enough that True Christian Motherhood could be used as a daily or weekly devotional with questions at the end of each to contemplate upon.

True Christian Motherhood is perfect for individual use but also for group study, as seen with the True Christian Motherhood Facebook Discussion Group. This group has been a wonderful blessing to me and so many others over the last few weeks. I have been challenged and encouraged on a daily basis, and have met some wonderful women of God.

This book is a true gem, Biblically sound and I highly recommend it for all Christian moms, young and old, to read and apply to your life! You will not be disappointed.

BUY IT: You can purchase True Christian Motherhood online here as a PDF. It is also available at Amazon for your Kindle or Nook.

  10. Alot of days I feel like the verse "Pray without ceasing" was written just with moms in mind! :-) And I can definitely tell on the days that I don't that the challenges are much greater. I would love to read this book for some extra encouragement! Thanks,

    Tyra

  15. When tempted to worry about something, I try to remember to pray instead. Also, I like to find a verse of scripture that speaks to whatever my struggle is and pray that scripture. God's Word is so powerful.

  29. I remember the trail with cancer my oldest son went through three years ago, at the age of 6, and how merciful the Lord was to me then. I was pregnant at the time and He carried me through each day. I know that no difficult day of homeschooling can compare to that time in my life, yet He is always there for me to run to and wants to bear my burden no matter how big or small.~Mari
