About Dayspring Recordable Storybooks:

DaySpring's Recordable Storybook Collection will give Christian retailers a new way to help parents and grandparents encourage children in their faith," said DaySpring’s Director of Marketing Communications Brenda Turner. "We are looking forward to being an integral part of sharing the love of reading - and the love of God - through these new storybooks."
Written by Bonnie Rickner Jensen and accompanied by illustrations from Julie Sawyer Phillips, Bedtime Prayers and Promises offers Scripture verses, prayer starters and rhymes that teach children about God’s love for them. Through voice-save technology, the familiar sound of a loved one helps biblical truths come alive in a reassuring way for children.
"DaySpring's Recordable Storybooks are ideal for military parents stationed overseas or for family members living in another state who long to be involved in the day-to-day life of a child," said Goyer. "This collection will allow them to send their love through sweet, bedtime prayers."
Bedtime Prayers and Promises is now available at Christian retail stores for $29.95
My Review:
Bedtime Prayers and Promises is absolutely one of the cutest books I have seen for young children in a really long time. And to make it more amazing is the chance to record yourself (or another loved one like a grandparent) reading the book. Recording is very simple, and my favorite part of the book was watching the look of my girls' faces as they heard my voice throughout the book.
Each page has a simple poem, Bible verse and little prayer to pray with each other. There are seven little poems, making this a perfect weekly devotional, with cute illustrations as well. Bedtime Prayers and Promises is the first in a four book series of Recordable Books, and I am definitely going to be looking at getting more of these, as my family lives both out of country and province. These would be perfect gifts for my nieces and nephews, as well as my own children. The recording process is very easy to understand and do, and I also love that the book comes in board book format, perfect for keeping safe from little hands.
If you are looking for a great gift idea that will last forever, this is the perfect thing! I highly recommend Dayspring Recordable Books and give them a huge thumbs up!
