Love On The Line: A Book Review

About The Book:

It's a Battle of Wills ... and Love Is on the Line!

Rural switchboard operator Georgie Gail is proud of her independence in a man's world . . . which makes it twice as vexing when the telephone company sends a man to look over her shoulder.

Dashing Luke Palmer is more than he appears though. He's a Texas Ranger working undercover to infiltrate a notorious gang of train robbers. Repairing telephones and tangling with this tempestuous woman is the last thing he wants to do. But when his stakeout puts Georgie in peril, he realizes more than his job is on the line.

My Review:

Maid To Match was one of my favorite books to read in 2011, so when the opportunity came to review Deeanna Gist's newest release, Love on the Line, I could not turn it down. And it did not disappoint. It was an easy-to-read book with just enough romance and intrigue to make it interesting for all fans of the historical fiction genre. Though it is marketed as Christian historical fiction, Love On The Line, is not over the top in its mention of spiritual topics, therefore would appeal to a non-Christian reader.  A fun read that is the perfect gift idea this Christmas season for any Deeane Gist fan on your shopping list.

I highly recommend this book and give it a huge thumbs up!
