The Good Girls Guide To Great Sex: A Book Review and GIVEAWAY!

About The Book:

Whether you’re about to get married, newly married, or still figuring things out, The Good Girl’s Guide to Great Sex will show you why good girls have more fun!

Do bad girls really have more fun? Surveys say no. The women who are most likely to enjoy sex are married and religious. In other words, they’re Good Girls! But good girls know that making sex great isn’t about acting trashy. It’s about recognizing what God really designed sex for, and then learning how to reap all these benefits and joyfully enjoy your husband. Frank and contemporary, The Good Girls’ Guide to Great Sex will give the newly engaged and new brides—and some veteran wives—a Christian resource to answer their most intimate, and embarrassing, questions. In a conversational style, with lots of humorous anecdotes, the book will show that sex isn’t just physical: it’s also an emotional and spiritual experience. And we’ll learn why commitment in a Christian marriage is the perfect recipe for a sex life which is out of this world!

My Review:

During the last few months there has been a number of books released that look at Christian marriage. I have had the opportunity to read a number of them and am very excited to share with you another great one.

The Good Girl's Guide to Great Sex is a easy read full of information regarding sex within Christian marriage. It combines facts with humor and recounts a number of personal experiences along the way. The author wrties with such a style that you feel like you are having a face-to-face conversation with her over tea. Loved this! The book examines not only the differences between men and women and how we look at sex in marriage but the importance that sex plays in a Christian marriage (or any marriage really). I really appreciated the look at the effect that pornography can play in a marriage and the importance for a Christian couple to avoid it at all costs. This is a huge problem in and out of the church today, and it was nice to see a females take on the issue.

This is the perfect book for an engaged woman to read as it is a great reference with many questions about sex addressed. There are a lot of issues discussed, like the use of sex toys, and oral sex, for example, but also the author gives "Good Girl Dares" for the wife to implement within her marriage. I also loved the emphasis on the importance of staying sexually pure before marriage, and how the author talked about how pre-martial sex can actually effect a marriage relationship.

I highly recommend me this book and give it a huge thumbs up.
