Start A Tradition with Hasbro Today!

Playing games as a family is a weekly routine that my husband and I started with our girls about six months ago, and it has been a fantastic experience! Games, whether board, cards, or other types are a perfect way to teach concepts like sharing, turn-taking, counting, colors, problem solving, logic development, social interaction, and more. I love that many game manufacturers are also including the youngest of learners in their plans for games.

Start a tradition this Spring to incorporate family game time and make fantastic memories, just like this family has!

One of these companies is Hasbro, and as a family, we recently had the opportunity to add two more games to our family game night arsenal!

Hungry Hungry Hippo:

Do you have the hungriest hippo? Come on down to the riverbank and join Sweetie Potamus, Veggie Potamus, Picky Potamus and Bottomless Potamus for a gobblin’ good time! Will your hippo eat the most marbles to win you the game? Get ready for the fun and frantic game that leaves everyone hungry for more!
The frenzied, marble-chomping game! Includes game base, 4 hippo heads, 4 hippo bodies, 4 marble launchers & guides, 20 plastic marbles and instructions.
For 2 to 4 players Ages 4+
Memory - Shrek Forever After Edition:
Where are your favorite Shrek Forever After movie characters hiding? Flip over two cards at a time in this super-fun MEMORY game and try to match up pairs. Try to remember where you've seen those fairytale faces before so you can make as many pairs as you can. Simple to learn and quick to set up, this game puts your Shrek character-spotting skills to the test!

Includes 72 picture cards, plastic tray and instructions.  For 1 or more players.  Ages 3 and up.

My Review:

Games of all kinds are abundant in our home, from traditional card games like Go Fish to Bingo to Candy Land and more. Now we can add the above two games to some of our favorites.

The Original Memory game is one of the games we use a lot, and its been fun to add the twist of Shrek characters to the game. Our girls love matching the characters, and it is easily adaptable to suit the attention span of all ages. We started out using only a few of the cards and now use all of them.

And Hungry, Hungry Hippo is a fun and loud game that has been so fun to introduce to my girls. I remember playing the game as a girl, and its so great to introduce my own children to games I enjoyed as a youngster, as well as creating new memories with them.

Both Memory and Hungry Hungry Hippo will teach children so many concepts, like turn taking and social interaction, yet provides for hours of fun!

I highly recommend both games and give them both a HUGE thumbs up!

BUY IT: You can purchase both Hungry Hungry Hippo and Memory - Shrek Forever After at your favorite toy retailer like Toys R Us and Walmart.
