Who Wants To Play? Family Fun with Hasbro

This week is Spring Break for my oldest child and many other families here in Southern Alberta, and I am excited to have a ton of fun as a family.

With the weather warming up and the sun shining, it's been my plan to get the kids outside and active. However, sickness has infiltrated our family in the way of Strep Throat, Scarlet Fever and colds in general.

Therefore, we are going to be doing some more indoor activities to fight off any boredom. One way we are doing that is through family themed board games from Hasbro! Recently, my family had the opportunity to review a great pack of games, thanks to Hasbro Canada and I cannot wait to share my thoughts about them with you all!

Twister:

How twisted will you get? Give the spinner a whirl and see what's next as you try to keep your hands and feet on the mat! Right foot red! Can you do it? Left foot green... you got it! Be the last player standing to win.
Contents: 1 TWISTER mat, 1 spinner and instructions.
For 2 or more players.
Adult assembly required. Ages 6+
Operation:
This OPERATION silly skill game features bells, burps, barks & more! Grab your tweezers and hold your hand steady. What do you hear? It sounds like a toilet flushing... looks like Cavity Sam has a case of bad plumbing! Eeeeeek! Can you "operate" and help him out? Press his nose to find out if your operation was a success, then listen up and the game will tell you what to grab next. Will you be the top doc? Ages 6+

Guess Who:
The original guessing game where players try to find the one-of-a-kind.
Now with easy set-up that provides out-of-the-box fun hundreds of additional downloadable characters available online: http://www.hasbro.com/games/discover/guesswho/
For 2 players Ages 6+
My Review:
Even though our children are younger still (at 5.5 and 3.5 years) we are a board-game loving family. Once a week we spend about an hour before bedtime playing one or two games. So when Hasbro wanted us to review more games, we jumped at the chance.

All three of the above games are for six year and up, however we have had a blast playing them. We have been able to adapt each game very easily to adjust for the girls, particularly the 3.5 year old. Operation has been super for helping to develop the girls' fine motor skills, Twister has been fantastic for reinforcing color recognition, handedness, and gross motor development. Finally, Guess Who has been a fun way to teach facial recognition to the girls. As the girls grow, I am sure we will use these three games to their fullest extent but for now we are making the games our own, and having a blast with them!
If you are looking for a fun activity to do with your kids during this Spring Break (if you are on it) or any time, I highly recommend the great selection of family friendly board games from Hasbro!
I give the above three games a HUGE thumbs up!
BUY IT: You can buy Operation, Twister and Guess Who at your favorite toy retailer.
