Little Prayers To Bless Your Day: A Book Review

About The Book:

Bestselling author and artist Chris Shea gently suggests that between the usual times of prayer—before meals, at church, or with a sleepy child—are so many more moments available to invite God to grace someone with a blessing. Is there a weary woman waiting in the checkout line? While Mom is folding a pair of pint-sized jeans, is there a wee one who needs a special touch from heaven? When shopping for shoes, is thought given to who could use the pair rarely worn anymore?
This charming book of prayers is a sweet reminder to see everyday, ordinary moments as golden opportunities to bring heaven to earth and God’s blessing to those nearby. It is a gift of hope and love to be given anytime a heart needs a smile.
About The Author:
Artist Chris Shea is the bestselling illustrator and author of If God Used Sticky Notes, Such a Wonderful You, and numerous other gift books. Through her own line of greeting cards, Lifesighs Cards, she inspires and amuses people with charming designs and words of hope and encouragement.
My Review:
Little Prayers To Bless Your Day is a delightful little book, perfect for gift-giving, or keeping a copy in your purse or tote bag, as a pick-me-up for your day! It is a great reminder that prayer can happen any time of the day, and for any reason, and should happen! Each prayer is accompanied by super cute illustrations as well. You will find a prayer for shopping at the grocery store, getting angry, buying shoes and more! You will be encouraged throughout your day as you read this great little book. I know I was!
I highly recommend this book and give it a huge thumbs up!
