Discover Together - Revelation: A Blog Tour and Review

About The Book:

Women need Bible study to keep balanced, focused and Christ-centered in their busy worlds. However, many find it difficult to set aside the time and discipline needed for an in-depth study. The Discover Together studies offer tiered questions to allow readers to choose a depth of study that fits with their individual lifestyles or schedules, even if they vary by the week, month or season
The newest series addition unpacks one of the most mysterious and misunderstood books of the Bible to help women prepare for their future with the risen Christ and be infused with courage, hope, and excitement for a life everlasting. Part of the discovery series, the Revelations edition includes tips for either individual or group use, inspirational sidebars and short, 3-5 minute teaching videos. Scan the video QR code in the book with a smart phone or visit the series website to watch Sue provide historical and cultural background, teach important truths found in each week’s lesson, or ask thoughtful questions to encourage deeper discussion.

My Review:

If I am to be completely honest, one of the books of the Bible that I struggle to understand and apply to my life on a daily basis, is Revelation. It is full of symbolism and information that I don't often think applies today. Wow, was I ever wrong.

I recently received a copy of Discover Together - Revelation by Sue Edwards, and it has changed completely how I look at this amazing book from God's Word. Each lesson takes about an hour and includes a fair amount of reading but also an equal amount of discussion and personal reflection. I especially loved the video clips of Edwards teaching, and how she brought the book of Revelation to life and makes it relevant. I have been through two weeks of the study and look forward to learning more over the next few weeks, and have thoroughly enjoyed reading responses online through the Facebook group study as well. A great option for women who cannot join a traditional Bible Study group.

The Discover Together series of Bible Studies would be a wonderful edition for any Women's Ministry and Small Group Studies.

I highly recommend this book and give it a huge thumbs up!
