My Review:

Ray of Light was a wonderful and charming read. It was very well written, with characters that you will immediately fall in love with. I enjoyed the journey seen throughout of moving from grief to hope in the future, and all the emotions dealt with along the way. It was a great reminder that only through God can we truly move past grief and let the past go. I really enjoyed Roman and Amanda the most as characters. It was great to see their relationship develop throughout the book. I had not read the first book of this series but that really did not impact my comprehension of references to book one. Ray of Light can serve as a stand alone book quite nicely. I will definitely be seeking out more of this author's books to read. There were a few secrets revealed in Ray of Light and as the book progresses, it seemed more will come in book three, Eventide. I cannot wait to read that one! This is another great choice for beach reading or travel reading this summer.

I highly recommend this book and give it a huge thumbs up!
