My Review:

If you are a fan of Christian suspense and mystery then you will enjoy this new book from author Lisa Harris.

This book has enough twists and turns in it to keep you reading late into the night, and explores the difficult topic of human trafficking. This is a terrible situation for anyone to deal with, but I felt that the author did a great job using a delicate topic. She also includes a readers guide at the conclusion of the book, and in her "author's notes", Lisa Harris once again gives more current facts regarding the issue of human trafficking. I felt the book flowed nicely and kept my attention throughout. The characters were well-developed, as was the story line. As this is book one in the Southern Crimes series by the author, I look forward to seeing how the main characters, and the series itself, develops.

I highly recommend this book and give it a huge thumbs up!
