As many of you know, I am a huge fan of Amish fiction, and even a bigger fan of Christmas! So when these two favorites come together in a quick read novel, perfect for reading on a cold winter evening with your favorite tea, you know you have a book that is worth two thumbs up!
The characters, setting and storyline is heartwarming and a great reminder of how important family is, especially during the holidays. I have read all of Carlson's Christmas books, and many of her others, and this was truly one of my favorite books of her's by far! I can't even truly explain why, but it just touched me in a way that a novel hasn't in a long time. There is a little something for everyone in this book, including a bit of romance, and is a book that can be very easily over a few days.
I highly recommend this book and give it a huge thumbs up!
