My Review:

If you have had the opportunity to read Steven James' first series, The Patrick Bowers Thriller, you will definitely want to check out his new series, The Jevin Banks Experience. I had the chance to read book one, Placebo, last year and loved it, so when the opportunity to read the newest book in the series, Singularity, I jumped at it. I was not disappointed in the least.

You are taken right into the action, thrills, twists and turns as you start the first chapter, and this excitement does not end until the final pages of the book. While the theme of prostitution is prominent throughout, and of course there is crime, etc, the story line is done without graphic description and vulgar language which is key to me. I love the genre of crime/mystery/suspense but am often turned off by the secular novels since they are so graphic. This was not the case in Singularity and for that I am grateful. The characters are all very strong and the storyline will keep you reading late into the night! There is a little something for everyone who reads this book, and know that while it is part of a series, it is not necessary to have read Placebo first, although it helps to give you a background. The storyline is complex, with a little sci-fi thrown in, and yet is not overwhelming and you will not feel lost reading it as sometimes that can happen in a book written in this style/genre. A very thought-provoking, entertaining read and I cannot wait to read more from Mr. James in the future.

I highly recommend this book and give it a huge thumbs up!
