My Review:

In a world that seems to be overrun with Pinterest ideas and Martha Stewart wanna-be's, it can be so easy for moms to become overwhelmed and discouraged when trying to plan celebrations for their families. I for one LOVE Pinterest and have not had too many of the ideas and recipes I have found not turn out. I also LOVE to celebrate holidays and other special occasions with my girls and husband. From making the first day of school extra special, to family movie nights, and starting family traditions for Christmas, I have developed a wonderful file full of ideas I have tried and still want to. Sadly though, many of the ideas out there are either time consuming, expensive to do or a combination of both.

That said, recently I was very excited to review the most recent book from Karen Ehman, one of my favorite authors. She teamed up with Glennis Whitwer to write Everyday Confetti and it was a very pleasant and game-changing read.

The book itself is not huge but is PACKED full of amazing ideas and recipes to celebrate spiritual birthdays, Christmas, and everything in between! I tried a few of the recipes and not only were they super easy to use, they tasted FANTASTIC! It was nicely organized between special occasions and holidays and the ideas simple, perfect for busy moms and families of all sizes and income levels. It also includes a nice collection of scripture verses and quotes from a variety of famous people.

This would be the ideal for all families and will be in my personal library to reference for many years to come.

I highly recommend this book and give it a huge thumbs up!
