The 500 Hats of a Modern-Day Woman

About The Book:

In The 500 Hats of a Modern-Day Woman you’ll find strength, purpose, and perspective to balance your many roles—and gain insight into the roles of women around you. With honesty, humor, and practicality, Joyce Ellis helps you see how your roles can fit together to make a difference in your world. Questions for reflection or discussion at the end of each chapter make this book suitable for book clubs and small-group Bible studies as well.

About The Author:

Joyce K. Ellis, award-winning author of more than a dozen books, speaks for women’s groups and retreats across the country and internationally. She and her husband enjoy reading by lakes and rivers and oceans, and spending time with their grown children and delightful, too-quickly-growing grandchildren. They live in suburban Minneapolis, Minnesota

My Review:

I had so much fun reading this book! With humor, practical tips and ideas, and builidng on her own experience, as well as others', author Joyce K. Ellis takes the reader on a great ride. In a manner that felt as though I was sitting in the same room with her and listening to an intimate speaking engagment with a mentor mom, you will be encouraged in whatever life stage you are at in your life. We all have different hats we were as women, but just because we are busy doesn't me we have to walk life alone! Although a lot of what Ellis writes was not new to me (seen it in other books for moms and women) it was greatly encouragement and a fantastic reminder of what God wants for me. I was delighted to be able to read and review this book.

I highly recommend this book!
