The Trouble In Texas series by author Mary Connealy has been such a treat for me to read over the last year, and I was estatic when I found out book three, Stuck Together was available to review. I was not disappointed!
Tina and Vince were fantastic as the main characters in this final book of Connealy's series. It was great to see how well they developed in this fast-paced book that kept me up late reading on several nights. While most of the time with a series I say that books can stand alone well, that is not the case here. It would be ideal if the first two books were read first, to eliminate confusion. I loved the underlying theme of overcoming our past in order to appreciate our future and not lose out on something, or someone, that God has meant for us. A message that all of us can appreciate. I love the style of writing that Mary Connealy uses, as she made me visualize each scene and I felt that I was experiencing exactly what the characters did.
I can't wait to see what is next for this author, and I will for sure be going back and reading other books from her!
I highly recommend this book and give it a huge thumbs up!
