Will Sarah’s journey west lead her back into the arms of the one man she can trust?
When her father succumbs to a long illness, Sarah Montgomery is freed from duty to family. At last she can be with the love of her life, Rand Campbell, who has gone out west to Fort Laramie, Wyoming. Sarah and her younger brother Joel make the arduous journey filled with hope.
But at Fort Laramie, the reception Sarah meets isn’t what she had hoped for. Her friend Amelia is thrilled to have her, but Rand seems to be in the clutches of Jessica DuBois, the scheming daughter of the post commander.
Sarah resolves to remain at Fort Laramie and try to win Rand back. But things will get tougher before they get easier . . . especially when her ex-fiancé Ben Croftner arrives in Wyoming, obsessed with having her back in his arms.
About The Author:
USA Today bestselling author Colleen Coble has written several romantic suspense novels including “Tidewater Inn,” “Rosemary Cottage,” and the Mercy Falls, Lonestar, and Rock Harbor series.
It's another fantastic book from prolific author, Colleen Coble. Book Two of Journey of the Heart series reintroduces you to Sarah and Rand, and I loved this short novella so much. The action is fast paced and you will find yourself cheering on the main characters throughout the book. While the ending does leave you hanging and wishing for more, the saving grace is that book three will be out in May. If you are a fan of recent books by Colleen Coble, then I highly recommend going back and reading these books, which are earlier works from her. You will not be disappointed. I look forward to reading the rest of the series. A quick read, perfect for curling up with a cozy blanket and cup of tea.
I highly recommend this book and give it a huge thumbs up.
