About The Book:
Broken, imperfect, sometimes fearful and without hope. is a beautifully crafted narrative that chronicles the remarkable encounters of five women in the Gospels who were desperate to find wholeness, security, and purpose. Like all of us, these women struggled with the regrets of their pasts, the stresses of their presents, and the worries of their tomorrows.
Join Frank Viola and Mary DeMuth on a fascinating journey back in time as they retell the dramatic accounts of five women who met Jesus. Each narrative is told from each woman's unique perspective, yet tightly grounded in the Gospel accounts and faithful to first-century history. Elegantly written and profoundly stirring, this book blends creative narrative with uncommon insight, spiritual depth, and practical application.
If you are someone who seeks a renewal of hope, faith, and love, will make your Bible come to life and usher you into a fresh encounter with your Lord.

I was introduced Mary DeMuth's writing about three years ago and I have not turned back. She brings you to a place you never thought you would find yourself, and that is not a bad thing! Recently, I had the opportunity to review The Day I Met Jesus. What an amazing read. Combining strong scriptural references, with the life of five amazing Biblical women, and the great writing team of Frank Viola and Mary DeMuth, I loved every part of this book.
The favorite part of this book for me, and I suspect many others, is the delightful way the authors combined narrative based on scripture with deep Bible study. It allowed me to really see how Jesus truly touched each of these women and how He touches me through forgiveness and grace. An amazing read for all who read it.
I highly recommend this read and give it a huge thumbs up.
