About The Book:
In The Biggest Story, Kevin DeYoung - a best-selling author and father of six - leads kids and parents alike on an exciting journey through the Bible, connecting the dots from the garden of Eden to Christ's death on the cross to the new heave and new earth. With powerful illustrations by award-winning artist Don Clark, this imaginative retelling of the Bible's core message-how the Snake Crusher brings us back to the garden-will draw children into the biblical story, teaching them that God's promises are even bigger and better than we think.
About The Author:
Kevin DeYoung is senior pastor at University Reformed Church in East Lansing, Michigan. He blogs at the Gospel Coalition and has authored or coauthored numerous well-known books, including Just Do Something, The Hole in Our Holiness, Crazy Busy, and Taking God At His Word. He lives with his wife and their 6 children in Central Michigan.
What a delightful new children's book from well-known author, Kevin DeYoung. It is absolutely stunning with brightly colored illustrations throughout the book. But best of all the book points to the most important message - that Christ loves us so much that He gave His life for us on Calvary, and that this message is seen throughout the entire Bible (both Old and New). It is the most beautiful children's book I have read in a long time, and my girls (ages 7 and 9) have loved having it read to them and it is easy enough for both to read on their own. It is the perfect book that will lead to great conversations between the adult and child reading it, helping children understand more about the deeper subjects of the Bible.
If there is one Bible story book you can have for a child in your life, it is this one to be sure.
I highly recommend this book and give it a huge thumbs up.
