Happy Habits for Every Couple: A Book Review

About The Book:

When was the last time you flirted with your husband? Was it before you had kids?

Do you spend more time on the couch with your wife watching movies or with a bag of chips watching The Game?

Does your idea of a hot date include a drive-thru and springing for the extra-large fries?

What would your marriage look like if for 21 days you turned your attention to happy habits that will better your relationship? Plenty of books describe how to improve a marriage, how to save a marriage, even how to ramp up intimacy in a marriage. In Happy Habits for Every Couple, Kathi Lipp and husband Roger show you practical, fun-filled ways to put love and laughter back into your marriage.

Here are just a few of the results you’ll see when you put Happy Habits for Every Couple into practice:
  • new levels of warmth and tenderness in your relationship
  • a deeper sense of security with your spouse
  • a marriage filled with fun and flirting

If you haven’t given up the dream of being head-over-heels with your spouse again, following this 21-day plan will give you just the boost you need to bring you closer together.

My Review:

I have been reading Kathi's books for a number of years now, and with each read, I am more and more inspired and encouraged in my walk as a Christian woman, wife and mom. Now, with one of her most recent releases, Happy Habits for Every Couple, I am once again inspired in regards to my marriage.

Later this year, my husband and I will celebrate 20 years of marriage. We also have two daughters, 8 and 10 years respectatively, who have their own activities,  and we are involved in ministry opportunities at our home church, volunteering in men's, womens's and children's ministry. We also both work full time. So it is obvious that time as a couple does not always happen as often as it should and must. That is where a book like Happy Habits for Every Couple can be a HUGE asset. It is loaded with great ideas to connect with your spouse in a deliberate, and fun, manner. The 21 Days are a great way to refresh and rejuvenate your marriage, even if you think things are okay, there is always something to improve on. The plans are easy to implement, and most are low cost. I have done many of them and they are great.

This is the ultimate gift idea for an engaged couple, wedding gift, shower gift and even an anniversary gift.

I highly recommend this book and give it a huge thumbs up.
